As the funeral bells of color painting toll, the last “ism” [of Painting] goes to its eternal rest, the last love and hope collapse, and i leave the house of dead truths. The moving force is invention (analysis), not synthesis. Painting is the body, creativity the spirit. My job is to create something new out of painting, so I examine what I do practically. Literature and philosophy are for the experts in those fields, but I am making new discoveries in painting. Christopher Columbus was neither a writer not a philosopher; he merely discovered new lands.

Some personal work. A rendition of my first display typeface creation, titled TwoToned due to the two colours entwining each other. it was originally all one colour, but i started to experiment further, and thought the combination of the two colours looked quite cool so proceeded with it.

Revenge is Sweet is a collaboration between Angelique Piliere (Lyon France) and Lee Owens (Melbourne Australia). The pair met while studying graphic design and began working together after moving to London in 2006.
Their work sits on the edge between typography, illustration and design, creating mixed media, custom typefaces and illustration to produce bold, striking imagery.
Some other printing making and image making I did at college. Really like some of these. I really should use some of these elements. :))
